Sugar got her name because she is as sweet as...well, you know. She is a happy, well socialized dog that has lived with other dogs and has enjoyed being a farm dog. Her happy days came to an end when her family lost their home through foreclosure and there was nowhere for her to go. She is used to being loved and cared for and is healthy, strong, and in good condition. She would love for you to lose your hands in her wonderful, deep, soft fur and has great memories of being petted and well loved. This big girl has a best friend, also on our site, named Boomer, a black chow chow mix. She has lived with him all her life. In a perfect world, this matched pair, one black, one white, would go to a new home together, but we will certainly adopt them separately, also. Sugar makes friends quickly and she would be a great second dog in a family, if you are looking to add another dog. Her breed makes her both a stunning and loyal dog. She will need room to exercise and probably would not do well living with cats, as she sees them as objects to chase. Come see this beauty and fall in love!

Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permintted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
