Katie is a sweet, and quiet young lady. She is two yrs old and weighs between 35-40 lbs. She has had one litter of pups, and was an outstanding mama. She is now spayed, and ready to be a part of a new family. Her coat is of longer hair, and has some wave to it. Her eyes are like those of a beagle, full of expression. She is what I would call petite. She does well when I clip her nails, and enjoys being brushed. Katie also loves cats. She wags her tail, and goes out of way to be affectionate. I feel that Katie would prefer a quiet home, to that of one filled with children and excitement. She gets along very,very well with all our other(8) adult dogs that live here. She enjoys play, and will wrestle with all her companions, she also loves to chew her Nyla-bones. She likes to sleep with me and the other dogs in our bed. She is a wonderful girl.

Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permintted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
