Holly is a very special dog. She is a golden retriever/ beagle mix and is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. She is really just out of puppyhood. She is full of affection and loves to cuddle and snuggle. She will curl up with you on the couch. She also loves squeaky toys and her Kong. A good game to tug-of-war or fetch is always fun as well. She does have some difficulty adjusting to visitors and will need to be monitored around children. After she gets to know a dog, she seems to get along with them. Because of her fear of strangers, I would recommend her go to a calm home with mostly adults. She is very easily frightened. She needs a family who will reassure he in unfamiliar situations. rShe is fully house trained, crate trained and knows most of the basic commands. She is just about to finish a obedience class with a trainer. She is up to date with all of her shots and she is micro-chipped. She usually walks well on a leash. Her foster family has grown to love her and will miss her very much, but she needs a quieter home where she can feel safe and not be stressed by constant activity.
