Outgoing just isn't enough to let you know what a happy, joyful dog this is. Still very young, he loves to run and play and would be the ideal "best buddy" for an individual who is active. He would like to be a running buddy, or go for long walks, play in the yard or the park, go camping, hiking, anything where he could stretch his legs and feel the sun on his back! He would also be a good dog for an active family, as he is so outgoing that he would welcome any and all friends to the house. Fun and a bit goofy, Copper is a dog who will make you laugh. He has never been loved or trained, but his natural tendency to want to please you will make this an easy task. A good class on training will set him on the right path to perfection. If your ideal dog is a happy guy, you can't make a better choice than Copper. Copper is a dog who really deserves a home. He will repay you every day of his life with love and laughter.
This dog is very nice temperament and definitely needs obedience training. He is too active for young children and no cats!
Copper likes big Nylabones, femur bones and tennis balls. He spent 5 months in a shelter continually being overlooked.. so now he is in rescue but sadly in a kennel and not a foster home..... and still being overlooked.. This is a nice boy who loves people and other dogs.
Copper is doing well with his training... he is very treat motivated and walking well on lead and knows sit.. he just really needs someone to spend time with him and exercise!! He is learning new commands all the time.. He has learned to walk nicely on lead, knows sit, wait, down and learning stay... he's so happy to have someone spend time with him.
