Penny is cute as the proverbial button. So very small and so young, she is a tiny, lap sized puppy. Only five pounds currently, this little one is not destined to get very big. She is looking for someone to cuddle her and to love her. In return, she will give you her whole life, which should be long and healthy!

Penny is a 5 month old jackiehuahua...an adorable chi j russell mix! She loves everyone.She loves chase the tennis ball or stick, and playing tug of war, although she generally loses! She is very social and loves to wrestle and play with other dogs. She is good with cats, although they are not always pleased with her attempts to wrestle with them.If you are looking for a playmate for your present dog, she would be a great match, although I'm sure she would not mind being a spoiled only dog.She is a smart little girl who would do ok with older kids. Puppies will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract only. An ADDITIONAL $150 deposit will be taken at the time of adoption and refunded upon proof of spay/neuter. Adoption Donations: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
